A new trailer for Toy Story 4 has dropped, and things are looking seriously bleak for Woody and co., as they bid to save new pal Forky.
The teaser kicks off with Bonnie’s toys introducing themselves to the very nervous newbie, voiced by Tony Hale.
Side note: Let’s all overlook the fact that Forky is most definitely a spork for now…
The toys are all celebrating as they prep for a caravan holiday, but nothing is ever straight forward for the gang.
And, despite Woody’s best efforts to keep Forky as protected as possible, he manages to fly away in the wind.
Well, he is a piece of plastic cutlery with some pipe cleaners attached to him, so not quite the sturdiest structure….
Buzz, Rex, Potato Head and the gang then jet off on another adventure, risking their lives to save him and making some new friends – and enemies – on the way.
But do they manage to bring Forky back home? We’ll have to wait until June to find out…
A little awkward that Child’s Play has been slated for the same day, but anyway.
Tim Allen – who voices everyone’s favourite toy cowboy – recently opened up about what we can expect from the fourth instalment of the film.
And he revealed that it is actually even more emotional than Toy Story 3 and that furnace scene.
During an appearance on The Talk, he explained: ‘It’s so emotional, it’s so funny, it’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled.
‘I couldn’t even get through the last scene. I would love to be a Washington leaker.
‘They’ve got great characters but a couple of scenes toward the end were really hard to get through.’
Toy Story 4 is in cinemas on 21 June.
