BBC Breakfast was joined by a legendary guest on Thursday morning’s programme as Sir Tom Jones made an appearance on the show.
To promote his new single and the fact that he is the oldest man to top the album charts, Tom appeared on the breakfast show and was interviewed by presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt.
The presenters asked Sir Tom about his family’s thoughts on his music, including his son and his late wife Melinda who passed away in 2016.
A visibly emotional Tom described his wife’s take on his tracks and explained to the presenters that she had an ear for his music and she was often "right" about the different genres he would venture into.
