The Masked Singer has got ITV viewers putting their detective hats back on in recent weeks as 12 new celebrities have taken to the stage as they try to stop their true identities from getting out in the open. It wasn’t long before fans started guessing who each performer could be and one who seems to have caught the attention, in particular, is Robin, with lots of punts being on the contestant as Aston Merrygold from JLS, who competed on Strictly in 2017, going on to win the Christmas special the following year.
Robin impressed with his vocals in his debut appearance, showing he could hit the high notes whilst belting out Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.

Many have picked up on different clues highlighted by Robin which they are sure are linked to the much-loved singer.
Although is not always the case, the costume the celebrity is wearing can sometimes be a major giveaway as to who they are.
Aston once appeared on Stars in Their Eyes before his JLS days where he appeared as Michael Jackson, singing hit ‘Rockin’ Robin.’

Lots of eagle-eyed viewers are sure this is making reference to the star’s performance on the X Factor final opposite Westlife, where JLS sang the latter’s song.
As well as this, the star appeared on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Janette Manrara back in 2017.
