The Masked Singer: Harlequin performs ‘Falling’
There are just five characters left in The Masked Singer and as the semi-final approaches, viewers are certain they have worked out who is under Harlequin’s mask. For weeks, fans have been convinced Gabrielle is performing as Harlequin and one of their latest clues appeared to confirm she is under the mask.
During Saturday night’s instalment, Harlequin explained during their career they have “chatted to world leaders”.
They went on to add they have also “met” a Prince.
While in recent weeks some viewers have believed this was a link to the Royal Family, now they are certain it is a link to the late singer Prince.
Gabrielle performed with Prince even joining him as a support on one of his tours.

Viewers rushed to Twitter to share their theories with one posting: “Knew it from the moment she first sang. Harlequin is Gabrielle, she supported Prince on tour #TheMaskedSinger.”
Another added: “Suits, Patch, Prince…Harlequin can only be Gabrielle! #TheMaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSinger.”
“Definitely Gabrielle she use to party with Prince #TheMaskedSinger,” a third tweeted.
Someone else believes Gabrielle’s voice is “so distinctive” that “she must” be hiding under the Harlequin mask.
Judges Rita Ora and Davina McCall completely missed the reference to Prince and instead suggested Des’ree or Emelie Sande were performing.
Fans know Gabrielle, 51, is best known for her hit Dreams in the early nineties and she has since gone on to produce six studio albums.
Last night Harlequin was saved from being unmasked as Blob and Viking were eliminated from the competition.
Viewers were relieved to see Lenny Henry really was performing as Blob while Morten Harket was Viking.

Morton said he agreed to sign up to the show to push himself out of his comfort zone.
“It was fun to start to become another character,” he explained.
“I’ve never done anything like that before – never done theatre, films, nothing.”
Morton dropped several hints about his identity after performing A-Ha’s song Take On Me.
Meanwhile, Sir Lenny was simply thrilled to hear some of the judges’ guesses about who he was with Morgan Freeman being suggested.
“I’ve been in lockdown since March… so when the people said ‘Come and do this,’ I was like, ‘Yes OK I’ll come!’” he recalled.
“So to be here with people and to have them be so lovely, to be listening to the panel and to see you guys, it’s been a joy to be here.”
The Masked Singer airs Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
