The former Coronation Street star’s routine had two judges on their feet following his first ever Strictly Come Dancing routine. Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas stood as they applauded the actor following his lively routine. Will was left stunned when the panel awarded him 34 points, with two nines making a rare first-week appearance. An emotional Nancy explained how “proud” she was of the 46-year-old.

As their routine came to an end, Motsi and Shirley stood, waving their arms in celebration.

“Only the biggest reaction of the night!” host Tess Daly remarked.

She added: “Crickey, you gave that some welly, Will!” Catching his breath, the soap star grinned, unable to speak.

“You threw everything at that! Let’s hope the judges are happy,” Tess continued.
