Strictly Come Dancing fans were left foaming at the mouth after this year's professional pairings had surfaced online, just two hours prior to the big unveiling.
Viewers of the show were even more disappointed after having to wait even longer this year for the show to return, following the setbacks faced due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic taking its toll.
Angry spectators who stumbled across the information online have fumed that the BBC favourite has now been "spoiled".
As the show was pre-recorded earlier this week, celebrities taking part in the 2020 competition are already well aware of who they have been partnered with.
Daily Star Online has chosen to not disclose the leak that emerged on the internet earlier this week.
Ordinarily, the couplings would take place on the grand opening night of Strictly, adding to the excitement factor of what to expect on the show in the weeks ahead.
The show will air tonight at 7:50pm on BBC1 but some viewers are already annoyed that the big reveal has now been ruined.
One tweet read: "It was nice not knowing the pairings – that's spoilt Saturday night."
Another appeared to be more disappointed that the leak had happened so close to the main event, explaining: "Can't believe these leaked with just two days to go."
In spite of the alleged pairings now being out in the public eye, some still remained hopeful that it was all a hoax in the build up.
One fan wrote: "Today’s the day! After what seems like the longest year ever Strictly is finally back on our screens tonight with the launch show.
"And in a novelty we're going in blind as no confirmed Strictly spoiler have materialised."
Another excited Strictly fan urged other Twitter users not to believe everything that is discovered on the social network.
A second viewer penned: "It is not officially Strictly season without the fake spoilers. You should all know this by now."
While a third agreed: "Anyone who follows Strictly Spoiler on a Saturday night knows how unreliable Twitter can be and these 'sources' are nearly never right."
This year will see the first same-sex pairing, as boxer Nicola Adams will be partnered with a female dancer.
Strictly Come Dancing aires tonight on BBC1 at 7:50pm.
