Andor: Diego Luna teases Disney+ Star Wars series
Star Wars fans will never forget the horrific scenes laid out in Episode IV: A New Hope. After Luke Skywalker (played by Mark Hamill) and his pals saved Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) from the Death Star, Darth Vader (James Earl Jones) was seen killing Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness). This pivotal moment kickstarted Luke’s journey to finally becoming a Jedi Knight.
However this week it was announced during Disney’s investor conference that the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi show will also include Darth Vader.
It was revealed earlier this year that Ewan McGregor will be reprising his role as the titular character, but now it has been confirmed he will be joined by fellow prequel trilogy actor Hayden Christiansen as the intergalactic tyrant.
The pair were last on screen together in 2005 during Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
The iconic film saw the surrogate father-and-son fighting on the lava planet of Mustafar.

The final moments of the film showed Obi-Wan almost killing Anakin Skywalker, prompting his final turn to the Dark Side, and becoming Darth Vader.
With Vader’s appearance in the upcoming TV show, it proves that Obi-Wan and the Sith Lord had been quarrelling for decades prior to A New Hope.
Fans have already been tipped off that the pair are going to be battling in the season to come – and there is only one thing they both care about: Luke Skywalker.
Chances are viewers will see Obi-Wan and Darth Vader fighting over the location and/or training of the next generation of Jedi warriors.
The Chase: Bradley Walsh and Mark Labbett joke about Star Wars
Star Wars boss Deborah Chow was involved in the monumental announcement this week, and even teased that the pair will be battling it out in episodes to come.
She confirmed viewers will “definitely see Obi-Wan and Darth Vader get into it again.”
McGregor added: “It’ll be amazing to bring those characters back together again, very unexpectedly. Having another swing at each other might be quite satisfying for everybody.”
Disney boss Kathleen Kennedy herself even reference a “rematch” between the two iconic characters.

Details about the Obi-Wan Kenobi show weren’t the only Star Wars related news that popped up this week, as the investor show also detailed a number of other projects in a galaxy far, far away.
The first news of the next Star Wars movie was announced, and it is to be directed by Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
It will revolve around a fleet of rogue pilots, and is titled Rogue Squadron.
The new film is due out around Christmas 2023 – so viewers still have quite a while to wait.
A sizzle-reel was also showcased showing off more details about the Rogue One prequel series, Andor.
The new TV show focusses on the film’s main character Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), and his journey into the rebellion.
The Mandalorian is also receiving two spin-offs, including an Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) show, and one titled Rangers of the New Republic.
The Star Wars franchise can be watched on Disney Plus now.
