Marnie Nightingale (Lysette Anthony) was left distraught in Hollyoaks tonight (November 16), after a horrific showdown with Victor Brothers (Benjamin O’Mahony).
With Marnie having spotted Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) speaking to Victor in the previous episode, she had her suspicions about what her granddaughter was getting up to.
However, she ultimately put two and two together and discovered the full extent of Juliet’s criminality after a meeting with Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi).
Having come to realise that Juliet is, in fact, a drug dealer, she acquired Victor’s number from the young woman’s phone and set in motion a meeting.
In a secluded area, Marnie confronted Victor, who intimidated and threatened her — before demanding that she surrender her expensive handbag, coat and shoes to him.
Misbah later found a distressed Marnie — under the stairs outside The Loft —using a tarpaulin to cover herself up. Marnie told her that Victor had decided to ‘cross her out’, before revealing that he’d drawn a large ‘X’ on her face.
Misbah offered her support, and took her home.
When Juliet arrived, Marnie revealed everything about her ordeal with Victor, but when the young woman attempted to blame her for what happened, Marnie ordered Juliet to get out of her house.
Will Marnie tell James (Gregory Finnegan) about what Victor did?
Hollyoaks continues Tuesday November 17 at 7pm on E4.
