There looks set to be an emergency in EastEnders as skint Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) takes dangerous action in order to try and save the club after becoming the victim of fraud – but when the plan goes wrong, will someone be badly hurt?
When she realises the terrible mistake she has made, she realises that life may have changed forever but what has she done and can she ever gone back from this?
Ruby and Martin Fowler (James Bye) are official and trying to ignore Kat’s (Jessie Wallace) snarky comments on their relationship. Ruby finds out that someone’s stolen her identity – making outlandish purchases but thinking she can handle it herself doesn’t tell Martin
Ruby is battling with the bank over fraudulent charges but she brushes it off to Martin.
When asked about the club reopening she can’t be certain as her finances aren’t in the best place but Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) suggests a way to sort things seeing as the place is insured.
It’s clearly not a legal plan – and Ruby is unsure.
With her money being drained, Ruby tells Vinny she’s in on his plan to claim on the insurance – she tells him she’ll be out and the club will be empty, with a full safe.
However, she soon has a change of heart and she tries to call Vinny off but it’s too late as he is already disguised and breaking in to the club. Martin has spotted the burglary and chases Vinny into the Minute Mart with dangerous consequences – but will one of them be injured?
Vinny calls Jags (Amar Adatia) for help but Suki (Balvinder Sopal) turns up much to Vinny’s dismay and Suki demands he leaves.
But is she planning a cover up? And what has happened to Martin?
