Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) faces his worst nightmare in Hollyoaks tonight (January 22), as the infamous Dr Ley (Sabina Cameron) arrives in the eponymous village.
Viewers will know that Dr Ley kept Toby locked away for the duration of his childhood as part of a sinister experiment she was working on, which she later documented in a book entitled ‘The Red Door’.
The experience left Toby emotionally scarred, and he’s been battling his demons ever since.
However, with the killer seriously out of control, Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) is determined to get him behind bars where he cannot hurt anyone else.
Celeste (Andrea Ali) is equally concerned about her brother, given that she caught him in the process of attempting to murder his own mum Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan).
The young woman agreed with Felix that action needed to be taken against Toby to stop any more blood being shed, and last night’s episode saw her devise a plan to put a stop to the killings once and for all.
Yes, she got in touch with Dr Ley, and pleaded with her to come to the village in an effort to ‘fix’ Toby.
In tonight’s episode — yes, that’s right Hollyoaks is back on Fridays — Toby is left in complete and utter shock, as he sets his sights on Dr Ley for the first time in decades.
His childhood tormentor has evidently listened to Celeste’s request, and therefore arrives in the village to ‘fix’ the murderer.
However, given what we know about Dr Ley’s past, can she really be trusted?
If not, Toby could find himself in deadly danger once more.
Will evil Dr Ley pick up from where she left off?
Hollyoaks continues Friday January 22 at 7pm on E4.
