Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) had his whole world torn apart in tonight’s (August 2) EastEnders, as the truth about his dad was finally revealed.
Last night, Freddie finally learnt that his father’s name was Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney), after Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) overheard Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) talking about him.
After Tommy revealed that he worked in a car dealership, Freddie managed to track him down, getting his contact details from the business answering machine.
The next day, a thrilled Freddie revealed all to best friend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and excitedly read out the text message he planned to send.
Concerned Bobby put a stop to that idea pretty quickly, insisting that he may be rushing into things to quickly.

Freddie, however, insisted that he had nothing to lose, and was determined to meet his dad.
Together, they came up with a plan to get Graham to the Square by asking to test drive one of his cars. With the meeting organised, Freddie headed out, full of nervous excitement.
Elsewhere, Kat had caught wind of Freddie’s discovery and laid into Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) for not stopping him from leaving the flat.
Alfie pointed out that there wasn’t much he could have done without telling him the truth, which Freddie’s mum Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) had forbid them from doing.
However, with Freddie armed with this new information about his dad, Kat feared that he may end up putting himself in danger by meeting with him.
Though Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) argued that Little Mo should be the one to deal with it, kat pointed out that she point blank refuses to, leaving the three of them in a difficult position.
While they discussed their options, Kat’s fears were coming to light as Freddie finally came face to face with Graham Foster.
As Graham did his car salesman pitch, Freddie stared at him in amazement, before finally revealing that he wasn’t there to buy a car at all. Irritated Graham prepared to drive off, but was stopped in his tracks when Freddie revealed his identity.
When Freddie explained that he knew absolutely nothing about his dad, Graham hid the vile truth by simply saying that things ‘got complicated’ between him and Little Mo.
Though Graham invited Freddie to join him for a drive so they could talk about it, Freddie declined, much to Kat’s relief.
Back at Kat’s, Freddie insisted that Graham was a really nice guy and that they were planning on having dinner together so that Freddie could meet his sisters. He admitted that he knew his mum would be upset that he’d gone behind her back, but that he was sick of all the secrets.
When Freddie revealed that Graham had blamed Little Mo for his absence from Freddie’s life and shared his belief that there was no reason that could justify her keeping Graham away from him, , Kat, Billy and Alfie realised that they needed to come clean about what had really happened all those years ago.
Freddie’s family sat him down and carefully explained how Graham had targeted Little Mo when she was alone in the Vic and raped her, which was how she fell pregnant with him.
With Freddie now aware of the full truth about his dad, how will he react?
