Pregnant Stacey Solomon apologises to fans after 'disappearing' off social media while she went into hospital

STACEY Solomon has issued an apology to fans on social media after taking a short break while she visited the hospital.

The pregnant reality star told fans on Instagram that she was sorry for "disappearing" but reassured them that all was well with her unborn baby.

The singer and Loose Women co-panelist took to her Instagram account (@staceysolomon) to address the hiatus with her 4.6 million followers.

Stacey, who is expecting a baby girl with Joe Swash, posted a snap of her bump to her Instagram story, with the caption:

"Good Morning. Sorry I've been so quiet we've spent the weekend checking in on princess pickle… All is ok. And we got to see her this morning to double-check everything…",

"Feeling so grateful that she's happy, comfy and safe in there… Hope you're all ok…happy Sunday".

The 31-year-old mum then treated followers to new scans of her little one in the womb, while addressing concerns people have had with the size of her bump.

"She was scratching her head and pouting this morning. Lots of people have said my bump is very small, and it really is measuring at 2% instead of 20%+" she wrote.

"But thankfully baby is exactly where she needs to be today despite my tummy size… Every pregnancy, every bump and every baby is different.",

"And as kind as people are I think sometimes it's important to remember when telling someone they look "big" or "small" or anything in between",

"It can be so worrying for the mummy growing a human and worrying why they look so different to someone else."

"And can be really scary… I know people don't mean any harm by saying "you're so petite and tiny" but it definitely has played on my mind a lot and made me worry I wasn't growing properly."

She recently announced she won't be back on Loose Women until 2022.

The 31-year-old wants to take maternity leave for baby number four and joined the panel for her final show last week.
