PIERS Morgan's wife Celia Walden smashed birthday cake into the star's face as he celebrated turning 56 today.
The TV presenter was joined by all four children for a BBQ in the garden of his London home – and was spoilt with sweet treats and booze.
And as the sun started to set, Piers took to his Instagram Story with one of his cakes, which was sent by his book publishers and featured the cover of his bestselling hit Wake Up.
Thanking his colleagues for the gift, Piers revealed in the video that the paperback of the book is coming out on Thursday.
As he concluded the video, a woman's arm appeared in shot and abruptly pushed the cake from underneath so that it went all over the birthday boy's face.
Piers' children could be heard giggling off-camera, with Celia the only possible culprit as the only adult woman in attendance at the garden party.
Earlier in the evening, Piers shared a photo of himself and all four children – 27-year-old Spencer, 23-year-old Stanley, 20-year-old Bertie, and nine-year-old Elise – social distancing in the garden while a BBQ sizzled.
He captioned the snap: "Birthday BBQ Squad. 🔥🔥🔥"
The star's birthday came at the perfect time, with today London's hottest day of the year so far – and England's rule of six coming into play yesterday.
And Piers also looked on the bright side of his dramatic Good Morning Britain exit earlier this month – sharing his joy that he didn't have to worry about being hungover to host a breakfast show tomorrow morning.
Posing behind a table laden with cake and bottles of alcohol from his nearest and dearest, Piers wrote: "Happy 2nd lockdown Birthday… to me!
"Fabulous cakes from @cakeworx @harpercollinsuk & some delicious alcoholic gifts from @ultimatebozo, @maricor_flor @jamieangelise @bertie_morgan @charlotte___tomlinson & some old @gmb friends.
"And no need to worry about doing a breakfast show with a hangover!"
Piers' celebration comes just days after the star said that all of the GMB team apart from Alex Beresford had reached out to him after he sensationally quit the ITV show earlier this month.
He'd locked horns with Alex live on air as they debated the Meghan Markle Oprah interview, with Piers storming off set before quitting the programme entirely just hours later.
The star wrote on Sunday: "I've had nice messages from all the other GMB presenters, apart from Alex Beresford, and many of the wonderful production team, from camera operators and producers to make-up artists.
"Some really moved me."
Alex did not acknowledge the jab as he took to Instagram later that day, brushing off the ongoing saga as he wrote: "Bless up yourselves on what looks like a grey Sunday.
"Remember the sun still rises and sets so beautifully some place in the world everyday."
