NORMAL People fans have been left in stitches after Daisy Edgar-Jones posted a hilarious blooper reel with Paul Mescal.
The clip, which was posted to Daisy's Instagram, shows the duo breaking down in hysterics as they continue to fluff their lines while filming a scene in a car.
Irishman Paul, 24, who played Connell Waldron in the show, attempts to say the line: "The fact that the people of Ballyfad don't let people die until they are at least 117 is one of its most notable features."
But before he is able to finish both he and his English co-star Daisy, 22, break down into peels of laughter.
The clip shows the duo continuing to erupt into fits of giggles as they try to complete the scene, and it reveals to fans the immensely fun time the cast must have had on set.
Daisy paid emotional tribute in the caption to everyone who made Normal People the huge success it has been this year.
She penned: "I can’t actually believe it is around a year ago today that we wrapped on NP, and what a year it has been.
"Thank you to all the lovely fans of our show, your support means so much to us. Thank you to everyone who made this series what it was and for giving me the most wonderful memories and my best friends.
"Thank you to @paul.mescal for amusing me so much with your Christmas jumper and for being such a brilliant acting partner and best pal".
Normal People was a huge hit for the BBC and Hulu, with the show was declared a breath of fresh air during the stifling pandemic lockdown by its fans and viewers.
The adaptation of Sally Rooney's acclaimed novel became an instant hit thanks to its incredible storyline, actors, scenery and, let’s not forget, revolutionary sex scenes.
Paul recently divulged that those scenes were in fact remarkably un-sexy to film.
He told the Mirror: “Filming those scenes is probably the least sexy thing you’ll ever do in your life, so it’s amazing that they turned out so brilliantly, because at the time, they are quite unsexy.”
