Molly Marsh claims she dated Tommy Fury before Love Island leaving fans baffled

Molly Marsh left fans bewildered after she claimed that she dated Tommy Fury before Love Island.

The 21-year-old star was one of the first ten singletons to enter the ITV2 villa for a summer of love, where she has quickly coupled up with 26-year-old Mitchell Taylor.

But the star previously left viewers confused with an old TikTok video where she seemed to claim she dated the fellow reality star before she signed up the competition.

As she took part in a viral trend three years ago in 2020, she was seen shaking her head to questions on screen.

One read: "You dated Tommy Fury before he went on Love Island?" where the star nodded whilst she mimed 'yeah' to the camera.

More captions appeared on the screen which read You are still in touch with each other.." and "You and Molly Mae are good friends now."

However a song saying "Woke up", then played in the background of the clip which hinted it was all a dream, just after the next question What now?", appeared in the video

This comes after it was revealed that she previously dated another Love Island hunk, Jack Keating before she joined the cast

According to The Sun, the social media influencer had been flirting with the Irish hunk by text after he starred in ITV’s Casa Amor series last year.

A source told the publication: “Molly and Jack were texting and there was a real spark when it first began, it was flirty banter.

“They knew each other through her influencer work and he seemed really keen.

“It fizzled out before they actually met up though and there was less interest from Molly’s side to be honest, but he still likes all her photos online.”d

This came after she reportedly told George Baggs that she also had a boyfriend mere months before she went on the show.

The blonde influencer headed into the villa to have a summer of love, but it seems she might have found her partner just before joining the cast.

Speaking to his brother Joe on their Not My Bagg podcast, George said: "We actually know Molly. I did think she had a boyfriend, I can't lie. I spoke to her like two, three months ago at an event and she had a boyfriend. So that's news to me."

Joe added: "Oh I bet he's a bit gutted right now watching this."

George replied: "He's pissed, and he works on cruise ships and stuff doesn't he, so he's in the middle of The Atlantic Ocean."

Before Joe cheekily responded: "He probably doesn't even know. By the time he docks up he's going to be watching Love Island."
