MARVIN and Rochelle Humes have won a battle against their neighbour to build a huge swimming pool at their £3.3m mansion.
The TV couple stormed ahead with plans for a 12×6 metre outdoor pool and covered hot tub – despite next door being furious.
The neighbour – whose home backs onto the presenters' north London mansion – complained over worries about noise.
Writing to stand up against plans for the private leisure facility, he wrote: "We do not want to have potential noise pollution from the continual hum day and night of the pool machinery in our very quiet and peaceful garden.
"We have lived in our house for 28 years and it would be a shame to have our garden spoilt by this.
"The noise would not affect [them] as it is a distance from the house but it would impact on us."
The nine-bedroom luxury home has seven bathrooms, four reception rooms and 161ft garden – and even an indoor elevator.
They were refused a planning permission for a new boundary wall at one-metre tall.
The entrance gates were found to be a "dominant and incongruous addition", which didn't suit the area.
Former JLS singer Marvin, 35, and ex-Saturdays singer Rochelle, 31, have been doing up their dream ever since moving in in the summer with their three kids.
They're now celebrating as plans for the lesiure facility are given the go ahead by Barnet Council.
Case officer Radhika Bedi ruled that the noice is "five decibels less than background noise a metre from any of the neighbour's windows".
She continued: "If the noise emitted from the pool plant has a distinguishable, descrete continuous note (whine, hiss, screech, hum) and/or distinct impulse (bangs, clicks, clatters, thumps)…
"It shall be at least ten decibels below the background level, as measured from any point one metre outside the window of any room of a neighbouring property."
