Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem's beef explained

RAP heavyweights Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem are locked in a war of words.

And Eminem has continued the beef with new lyrics that take aim at MGK. Here's how the feud started and what's happened so far…

What is the beef between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem about?

From what fans can understand, the beef between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem all started with a 2012 now-deleted tweet by Kelly commenting that Em's daughter, Hailie, was "hot."

He wrote about then-16-year-old Hailie: “I have to say, she is hot as f**k, in the most respectful way possible cuz Em is king,”

At the time, fans thought Eminem had ignored the comment, but it seemed that he was habouring resentment behind the scenes.

In 2015, Eminem banned him from going to Shade 45, his radio station.

Six years after the tweet was posted, Eminem also referred to Kelly's words on his track Not Alike.

He rapped: “I'm talkin' to you, but you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly / I don't use sublims and sure as f**k don't sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”

The top rapper's words prompted a response from Kelly on his diss track Rap Devil in which he directly references Em.

Kelly sang: "F*** Rap God, I'm the Rap Devil."

Alongside the track, he also tweeted: “Im standing up for not just myself, but my generation.

"Im doing the same s**t you did back in ur day. life is still real on my side, and i had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone i called an idol.”

After the release of Rap devil, Eminem blasted Kelly in a sensational interview with Sway.

He denied the fact the beef started because ofKelly's comments about his daughter.

He said: “The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that,

“The reason that I dissed him is because he got on—first he said, ‘I'm the greatest rapper alive since my favourite rapper banned me from Shade 45,’ or whatever he said, right?

“Like I'm trying to hinder his career. I don't give a f**k about your career. You think I actually f**kin’ think about you?

"You know how many f**kin’ rappers that are better than you? You're not even in the f**kin’ conversation.”

What did Eminem say about Machine Gun Kelly on his new album?

Now, Eminem has taken aim at Kelly once again, on his new album, Music To Be Murdered By – Side B.

On his new track Zeus, he rapped: “Fair weather, wishy-washy/ She thinks Machine washed me/ Swear to God, man, her favourite rapper wish he’d crossed me,”

On another track Gnat he added: “They come at me with machine guns/ Like trying to fight off a gnat.”

Kelly, who is now dating Megan Fox, immediately hit back at the new disses, tweeting: “those subliminals” alongside a laughing emoji and a trash emoji.
