LOOSE Women's Denise Welch wowed fans in a bikini as she celebrated losing two stone and keeping it off for the first time in seven years.
The 62-year-old took to Instagram to share her proud moment with her 151k followers and opened up about her previous ongoing battle with food after giving up alcohol.
The actress, who has starred in Waterloo Road, Coronation Street and Casualty, oozed confidence as she posed for the snap in a bright red two piece during a recent holiday to Malta.
Denise completed her look with some gold strappy wedges and a bright red lipstick to match her bikini.
After giving up booze eight years ago, her addiction turned towards food and she soon realised that she needed to do something about it.
She captioned the post: "7 yrs ago I joined @lighterlife as I’d put on over 2 stone after giving up alcohol.
"I realised I was on a slippery slope of replacing alcohol addiction with food addiction. I wanted a diet plan that would change my relationship with food not just help me lose the weight."
"@lighterlife was the only one using cognitive behavioural therapy alongside meal replacements (proven to be the best in the U.K. re vitamins, minerals required for daily intake).
"I lost 2st in 8 weeks and have kept it off ever since. I use the flexifasting plan to feel healthier and to avoid gaining too much again."
The Loose Women panelist went on to explain that she has benefited immensely from losing the weight.
She continued: "The osteoarthritis in my knees and back improved by 90% immediately and have never returned to where they were.
"I regularly spend time with the doctors and dietary specialists who advise the company.
"I have seen hundreds of lives changed for the better and type 2 diabetes reversed after people have reached their goal weight quickly and safely.
"I am thrilled that we are now seeing trials of this type of diet being held in the U.K. as we realise that obesity is one of the growing life threatening conditions in our country.
"I am proud to be the ambassador and we need to acknowledge how important it is to look at why so many people emotionally eat and how food is to many what alcohol was to me.
"Everyone deserves freedom from addiction especially now as anxiety and depression are on the increase #ad"
Her followers couldn't get over how good she looked and flocked to the comment section to tell her.

Over the years, Denise has been very open about her past problems with alcohol.
Back in April the star celebrated eight years of sobriety with a candid tweet thanking everyone for their support and gave a special shout out to her husband Lincoln.
She wrote: "Today, April 18th, I am celebrating being eight years sober, and I just want to thank everybody who has supported me on this journey.
"If it wasn't for my husband Lincoln who got sober with me, I don't know where I would be.
"If any of you are in the early stages or wherever you are in your sobriety journey, I just want to say it will be the best thing you have ever done.
"And for me, it hasn't just changed my life, but it has changed the lives of all the people who love me, and, indeed, my friends."
