JEREMY Vine show fans were left turning off in their droves after accusing a panelist of "peddling lies."
Furious Channel 5 viewers took fire at guest Carole Malone, 68, after she aired her gripes about the upcoming rail strikes.
The typically outspoken broadcaster accused rail workers of setting out to "wreck" Christmas with the industrial action over the festive period and World Cup.
On Jeremy Vine's show of the same name, she raged: "This will be the first proper Christmas we have had in this country for more than two years thanks to Covid.
"And they are going to wreck it you know."
She then reeled off a list of strike dates as well as the average wage of train drivers.

Fans were less than impressed by her words, with one writing: "Jeremy Vine and Carole Malone again peddling the lie that these strikes are just about train drivers."
After the particularly fiery debate, another put: "The irony of Carole Malone telling someone to calm down!! #JeremyVine."
A third continued: "Please get Carole Malone to stop talking. Her whiny voice has made me switch off."
Another claimed: "Me not watching #JeremyVine this morning because Carole Malone was on."

Members of the RMT union will abandon railways across the nation on December 13, 14, 16 and 17 – the final week of the World Cup.
And MORE industrial action will kickstart the new year, with walkouts planned for January 3, 4, 6 and 7.
Earlier this month, Carole was branded an "absolute joke" when she again starred on the show.
She made her presence known as the panel discussed topics including the cost of living crisis and free school meals for children.
The journalist didn't hold back on her opinion on all topics, and it soon angered people watching at home.
