RAPPER Pooh Shiesty has been sentenced after he was arrested for the second time in Miami this year.

The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, was charged with aggravated battery and firearms conspiracy, in addition to previous gun charges.

Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to 63 months in prison on April 20, 2022, for his role in an armed robbery in Florida.

He pleaded guilty to a single firearms conspiracy charge and was indicted on four counts in June 2021 for a shooting that occurred at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida in October 2020.

Shiesty secured a plea deal that allowed three of the charges to be dropped, including one that alleged he had fired the weapon.

If charged on all four counts, it would have resulted in him potentially facing a maximum of 20 years each for “Conspiracy to Possess Firearms in Furtherance of Violent Crime and Hobbs Act Robbery Conspiracy."

Why was Pooh Shiesty arrested?

Pooh Shiesty handed himself over to police on October 5, 2021, for reported charges for a shooting in a Miami-Dade strip club over Memorial Day weekend.

The Miami Herald reported that incident happened at the King of Diamonds strip club in Northwest Miami-Dade on May 30.

Footage of the altercation was posted to social media appearing to show the rapper walking out of the club with a weapon.

In the video, the man behind the camera reportedly says Shiesty is at the venue and claims someone stole the musician's money.

The crowd then appears to scatter as shots are reportedly fired as Pooh Shiesty allegedly shot a security guard in the leg.

Has Pooh Shiesty been arrested before?

Gucci Mane signee Pooh Shiesty was reportedly arrested for his involvement in a shootout in Florida earlier this year as well.

According to a report from local Miami news outlet WSVN on Monday, January 25, surveillance video footage allegedly shows Pooh involved in a showdown that took place in Florida's Bay Harbor Islands area.

He has reportedly been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and theft according to XXL.

The shooting reportedly transpired when "one of the victims was trying to sell designer sneakers and marijuana."

What happened in the video?

The surveillance video showed a McLaren sports car, a Mercedes-Benz Maybach, and another Mercedes pulling into a parking lot of a Bay Harbor Islands condo.

The drivers and passengers are seen getting out of the cars and, just minutes later, a man in a white shirt and another in a black sweatshirt began firing.

They then run back to the Maybach, which speeds away, with the McLaren following.

Another man can be seen hobbling back to a second Mercedes.

The incident occurred on October 8, 2020, and both of the victims were admitted to Aventura Hospital with injuries.

Shiesty is said to be the man driving the McClaren and he was reportedly arrested and booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade on October 13, 2020.

Who is Pooh Shiesty signed to?

Shiesty, born Lontrell Williams, is signed to Gucci Mane's record label 1017.

The Memphis native, who is just 21-years-old, has been making ripples through the rap world since his debut.

His track "Back in Blood" featuring Lil Durk peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and he dropped his mixtape, Sheisty Season, on February 5, 2022.

The young rapper has amassed 3.3million followers on Instagram and draws in 6.1million monthly listeners on Spotify.
