I’m A Celeb Jordan’s mum predicts ‘lots of vom’ as he gears up for eating trial

Jordan North 's mum Wendy has said she reckons there'll be "lots of vom" during Tuesday night's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! eating trial, Frights of the Round Table.

Wendy appeared on the second episode of I'm A Celebrity… The Daily Drop and spoke to Vick Hope about her radio presenter son.

He has been voted for his second trial in as many days, after causing a major commotion before he'd even entered the castle and then screaming his way through The Viper Vault.

Speaking of Tuesday's upcoming eating trial, Wendy said: "There's gonna be lots of vom involved, I can already see it. I can't even imagine…

"It's awful because I don't know whether to vote for him or not vote for him, I don't know whether I'm doing the right thing but I used all five votes on him.

"Is that a good thing as a mother?"

She said: "I've been through every emotion possible. When I saw him [in Viper Vault] I just wanted to give him a big love.

"It was awful and then from that he's just triumphed, I can't believe it.

"He's gone from such fear into actually getting nine stars, it's amazing."

Wendy revealed: "I know that he absolutely hates snakes. He hates heights, hates snakes, he hates ghosts. In fact, he's scared of quite a lot of things."

And she wasn't surprised by his throwing up incident before he and his fellow celebrities had entered the camp during Sunday night's episode.

"I just thought, well, I know Jordan," she said. "He has got a very strong gag reflex, so I knew that was probably going to happen at some point – but not great TV!"

She added: "I'm so super proud of him, I don't care what happens with this and where he comes, he's definitely the king of our family castle, and that's what counts."

The Daily Drop host Vick revealed three of the disgusting dishes coming up in Frights of the Round Table.

Jordan, Vernon Kay and Beverley Callard will be enjoying – or not – 10 dishes in total.

Three of them are nuts roast, which is deer testicles, Welsh scare-bit, which is sheep penis, and lamb rank, which is sheep brain.

The Daily Drop airs 5.30pm on ITV2 and is also available on ITVHub
