Gogglebox’s Izzi Warner welcomes ‘second baby of the year’ in puppy announcement

Gogglebox favourite Izzi Warner welcomed her daughter Bessie Rose to the family at the beginning of the year – and now the Warners have another adorable addition.

The reality star, who turned 26 last week, has adopted a miniature dachshund puppy, with chocolate-coloured fur and big brown eyes.

Naming the adorable creature "Fudge," Izzi shared a photo of the pup to Instagram, welcoming her "second baby" to the clan.

She said: "Today we welcomed our second baby of 2020. Fudge… perfect end to what has been a not so perfect year.

"Wishing everyone a happy new year and a more sociable 2021!"

In the comment section below, Izzi's Gogglebox co-stars and swarms of fans rushed to leave a sweet comment under the snap, welcoming Fudge to the family.

Gogglebox star Paige Deville said: "What a cutie!!"

"Awwww gorgeous," added a second, and a third chimed: "The best dogs!"

Izzi's sister Ellie Warner is a fellow dog lover, with her pet Italian greyhound Mick regularly featuring on the sofa during filming of Gogglebox.

It's been a busy year for Izzi, who gave birth to little Bessie Rose back in early February.

At the time, she shared a sweet update with fans, letting them know the delivery went smoothly and unveiling the newborn tot's name.

"So pleased to announce the safe arrival of our darling baby girl Bessie Rose," Izzi wrote.

"Born on 3rd February 2020 1:44pm, weighing 7lb 3oz. We are all totally smitten by her, feeling so blessed and happy. Thanks to everyone for all your well wishes xx.

Izzi is also a proud mum to son Bobby, four, with the happy family living together in their home in Leeds.

The family grouped together on December 23 to celebrate the busy mum's 26th birthday, marking the occasion with a quiet night in.

While Izzi was disappointed she couldn't celebrate with a blow-out bash, she made sure to sip on a gin and tonic and make the most of the special day with her nearest and dearest.

Thanking fans for their birthday messages, Izzi said: "Merry birthday to me!

"Thank you everyone who's given me cards and gifts or has simply taken the time to wish me a happy birthday.

"It's the little things that matter so much especially in these strange times… drinking gin in my living room wearing my slippers is about as exciting as my bday is getting this year."
