Emmerdale spoilers: Sam makes fatal error with wife Lydia's dream caravan

HAPPY couple Lydia and Sam Dingle have jumped through many hurdles over the years.

The Emmerdale lovebirds could be set for another obstacle as the farmer makes a terrible mistake with his wife's caravan.

After breaking the Dingle code in December, 2021, over Liv Flaherty, Lydia Dingle (portrayed by Karen Blick) was given a hard time by her husband Sam (James Hooton).

But since then, Sam has been adamant on proving how much he loves his other half with some grand gestures.

Sadly, in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap due to air next week, one of them backfires.

Coming up, Lydia first informs Chas (Lucy Pargeter) of her plans to buy herself the top of the range caravan that she wants.

Will she end up with two caravans?

Emmerdale couple Sam and Lydia have taken a backseat from all of the drama in the Dales.

In recent scenes, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) turned to them, hoping to receive some support amid her ongoing rift with her son Cain.

The village tough man has had enough of his mother's antics, as she's recently landed herself into plenty of trouble with the law and Dan Spencer.

She has also been trying to mend her relationship with her son, to no avail.

Meanwhile, Cain has been feuding with scheming businessman Al Chapman (Harry Potter actor Michael Wildman) and their squabble has taken dramatic proportions.

The Dingles are also reeling from the shock of Noah being exposed for stalking Chloe Harris for weeks on end.

Troublesome Noah was caught by his mother Charity as he was trying to assault his former love interest.

When Al, Amy and Kerry Wyatt were ready to make him pay for his actions, triggering a chase around Yorkshire for Noah's laptop, the Woolpack landlady decided to do what's right after some advice from Kim Tate.
