Emmerdale fans shocked as regular policeman is replaced by TWO new coppers after Harriet’s house get ransacked

EMMERDALE fans were left shocked this evening as the usual policeman was replaced by two new coppers.

Viewers are used to seeing PC Swirling, played by Andy Moore, attending all incidents in the village, but tonight there were some new faces in town as Harriet Finch’s (played by Katherine Dow Blyton)  house was ransacked.

Taking to Twitter to discuss their arrival one surprised person wrote: “Two new coppers #emmerdale.”

Another tweeted: “It’s a different copper!!!  #Emmerdale.”

While someone else joked: “Have hotten police been on a recruitment drive?”

But not everyone was happy as another moaned: “Oh no!!! Totally unacceptable!!! Where is PC Swirling?????????  #Emmerdale.”

Fortunately for fans, Swirling appeared on the show later on to visit Eric in hospital.

During tonight’s episode Will, played by Dean Andrews, fakes a burglary at Harriet’s home.

Recent episodes have shown Dawn plot with her father, who's stalking Harriet as part of his malicious plan.

Dawn has grown close to Harriet over the past few months in order to do Will's dirty work, and has even lied that he's dead in order to throw her off the scent.

Will starts to wonder where his daughter’s loyalties lie after he catches Harriet and Dawn looking friendly in the pub.
