Emmerdale fans puzzled over Caleb Milligan’s future after lie exposed

Emmerdale: Nicky tells Gabby he loves someone else

After months of lying and manipulation, Caleb Milligan’s (played by Will Ash) lies were finally brought to light in Emmerdale.

Teaming up with his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) to try and steal Kim Tate’s (Claire King) money, Caleb persuaded him to marry Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to get closer to the family.

However, it all became too much for Nicky who confessed all and revealed to her that he was gay.

Although it wasn’t only Gabby who uncovered the truth as Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) learnt it was his brother who had sabotaged his business.

With Kim, Gabby and Cain now knowing all, a huge showdown happened on Thursday night. However, on Friday’s instalment, Emmerdale viewers were left stumped to see Caleb had decided not to flee.

It wasn’t long before people watching the ITV soap took to Twitter to ask why he’s decided not to go anywhere.

CaroleAnn1982 blasted: “Caleb in the pub now, ridiculous, Cain et al will still be gunning for him.”

MaryLuvsLaughin asked: “Can anyone tell me? What is Caleb hanging around for now?”

Wlwhoney commented: “Ok so is Caleb staying in the village orrrrrr.” [Sic]

With CaroleAnn1982 saying: “As if Caleb would still be hanging around.”

Although it looks as though Caleb may not be hanging around for too long as spoilers for next week reveal he’s set to be pushed off a Woodland ridge by a mystery figure.

It’s unknown whether or not he dies from the huge drop, however, if a furious villager took matters into their own hands, a double exit could be on the cards.

Ahead of the dramatic scenes, actor Jeff Hordley was asked if he thinks his character is capable of killing his brother.

He replied: “I think there is always potential for anything with Cain. If he’s pushed in the wrong direction or if he flies off the handle then anything can happen.”
