Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) may be set to face serious danger after a sinister video call in recent Coronation Street scenes.
Eliza has had a difficult few months, having been taken in by Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) after her mum, Bridget, was sent to prison for murder.
It was the same murder that Stu had served a long sentence for, despite the fact that he hadn’t committed the crime.
Having been released from prison, he discovered that Bridget had been the actual culprit, and her mother had helped to cover it up.
Eliza’s world was once again rocked recently when it was revealed that her mum was being transferred to a prison in the northeast, meaning that she would see even less of her.
To try and cheer her up, Stu presented her with a new tablet, unaware of the danger this may end up putting her in.
After returning home and interrupting Stu and Yasmeen’s (Shelley King) life drawing session, Eliza made excuses to leave the room, having received a video call.
Once outside, she answered, and came face to face with a much older man. As they talked, it became obvious that Eliza had been secretly messaging him.
She pointed out that his voice was different to what she’d imagined, but was quick to point out that it was in a good way when he questioned her.
It then became horrifyingly clear that the man had planned to meet with young Eliza in person, with both of them expressing how they ‘couldn’t wait’.
With Eliza totally oblivious to the danger she may be in, will she go ahead with the meeting, or will Stu find out and put a stop to it?
