JANINE Butcher is focused on getting her relationship with Mick Carter on the right track.
But in doing so, the EastEnders villain forgets one of her main priorities, her daughter Scarlett.
In recent months, Janine Butcher (portrayed by Charlie Brooks) has worked on getting custody of her daughter Scarlett Moon (played by Tabitha Byron).
She eventually succeeded, with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) agreeing the young girl should be staying with her mother.
However, the Walford "super-bitch" has also been going above and beyond to sort out her intimacy issues with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) – leading her to momentarily forget about her daughter's well-being.
Coming up, Janine makes a shocking discovery about Scarlett.

Janine is beside herself and confides in Mick about what happened.
Soon enough, he's willing to help and make it all up to Scarlett.

He offers his help in surprising Scarlett with a butterfly walk.
Sadly for Janine, Mick's soon-to-be ex-wife Linda (Kellie Bright) interjects, telling him she received a concerning call from their autistic son Ollie's school.
Janine is left feeling rejected when Mick doesn't seem to be able to keep to his word.
But Sonia later points out that Mick is a family man and that his priority will always be his children.
Janine will, therefore, have no choice but to be okay with this.
Yet in true villain fashion, Janine will be retaliating against Linda.
For months, Janine has done all that she could to drive a wedge between Mick and Linda, going as far as to use the latter's alcoholism against her.
She has sabotaged Linda's efforts at staying away from the bottle by taunting her.
Unfortunately, Linda remains a strong presence in Mick's life.
Will Janine ever be able to keep Mick at her side?
