“I left camp a little chubbier than when I went in!
Dean and his teammates got to enjoy lavish picnics while rival Joe Swash’s team went hungry.
The star admits he loved beating them and getting to eat more
.Asked if he ever felt guilty, he joked: “Not in a million years. Joe is one of my close friends… he would have done exactly the same.
“In fact, maybe worse… he would have come in with the food still around his mouth!”
Dean was booted off the show just a few days before the final.
But he insists he isn’t bothered that he lost out to his rivals including Fatima Whitbread, 62, and Phil Tufnell, 57.
He said: “I’ve never won so much as an egg and spoon race at school so it would have been nice to get to the final, but I didn’t go in there for that reason.
“I’m a screamer and I didn’t think someone who is scared of their own shadow was going to win! But it was definitely worth it.
"It was an amazing experience."
Helen Flanagan was also sent home during Wednesday's (May 10) episode of the ITV reality show.
Before they left, host Dec Donnelly told the pair: "It wouldn't have been the same without you."
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned:
Another added: "Show won’t be the same without Helen and Dean"
A third person moaned: "What’s happening with #ImACeleb first Shaun, then Joe and now dean and Helen? Thank god for Phil cause he’s the only entertaining one left."
A fourth social media user said: "So sad to see Helen go she's being fantastic this time round, so different from her previous time I'm #ImACeleb sad to see Dean going too."
