Dancing On Ice's Becky Vardy looks confident as she gets her skates on ahead of show launch

DANCING On Ice’s Rebekah Vardy looks confident and happy as she gets her skates on ahead of the show’s glitzy launch.

The mum-of-five is in training ahead of competing with her professional partner Andy Buchanan.

In these exclusive photos, The Sun Online can reveal WAG Becky is looking like a hot contender for winning the title as she displays her skills on the ice.

Wearing an outfit of grey and black tones, the 38-year-old showed off her toned figure as she skated around on smart white skates.

Dressed warmly with black gloves and a cosy headband, Becky appeared in good spirits as she practised with partner Andy.

Becky, who is happily wed to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, revealed she was excited to be partnered with the professional ice skater for the ITV show.

After the partnerships were announced and the duo got down to rehearsals, Becky took to Instagram to say how happy she was.

She wrote: "Joking aside, I woke up this morning feeling grateful for such an amazing day with the Dancing on Ice team yesterday.

"Such a delight to meet everyone and feeling lucky to be working with such a lovely cast and crew ❤️.

"An extra surprise was meeting my wonderful skate pro @andybuchanan2 I am so excited to be partnered with you and am ready for some hard work! I can’t wait to get started!"

Andy also said he was "thrilled" to be partnered with Becky.

The Sun revealed in September that ITV chiefs think their roster is far better than their BBC rival's after DOI signed up Jason Donovan, Colin Jackson and Denise Van Outen.

Training for the popular ITV skating competition is now in full swing and the celebs are wasting no time getting stuck into things.

Denise – who was the third celebrity to be confirmed as part of the line-up next year – was paired with US star Matt, 44, who made history this year as the first same-sex DOI partnership alongside Steps singer Ian “H” Watkins.

Their pairing will have been disappointing to Rebekah Vardy who wanted to be paired with gay pro skater Matt — to avoid being the victim of any love-cheat rumours.

The ITV series is set to start early next year.
