Corrie’s Andy Whyment nicknamed ‘noodle arms’ after 11lb weight loss on I’m A Celeb – The Sun

I'M A Celebrity finalist Andy Whyment has revealed his hilarious secret nickname in camp following his 11lb weight loss.

The Coronation Street actor, 38, was a late addition to the Aussie jungle line-up yet the scant diet of rice and beans saw him drop a whopping five kilos.

He told Monday's Lorraine show how co-star Myles Stephenson had drummed up a nickname sparked by his slimming down.

Andy, loved by soap fans, told host Lorraine Kelly: "I have lost five kilos, but I didn't think I had five kilos to lose.

"Myles started calling me noodle arms because of it."

Andy narrowly lost out to EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa in Sunday's show final.

He told how it was "humbling" to have the support of the UK public who, for 19 years, have mainly known him as Corrie's hapless Kirk Sutherland.

He added: "To know people had got behind Andy Whyment, I was humbled massively by that.

"I was myself and to think people liked me for me."

In a touching comment, he added: "I have never cried so much."

Also appearing on Monday's GMB, Andy gave a nod to Jac's struggles in camp after learning her husband Dan may have cheated on her.

Jac's campmate Myles Stephenson, who dated Gabby Allen, told the mum-of-two he believed her other-half had cheated with the Love Island star.

Myles, 28, went out with Gabby, 27, after the alleged fling and only told her the story about Dan after she repeatedly quizzed him over it in the jungle.

Seeming to give a nod to her heartbreak on the ITV series, Andy told GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: "I think she's (Jacqueline) fine.

"I was really pleased for her.

"She had a tough time in there at times."

He added: "She's done really well. I am pleased for her."
