Britain’s Got Talent fans were blown away after an impressive dance troupe won the hearts of the judges as former contestants finally returned to the beloved ITV show.

During Sunday’s instalment of the popular talent competition, viewers were treated to a smashing performance by a talented dance group aged between eight and 18 who opened the show with their brilliant routine.

The two-minute long performance saw the kids dance their hearts out at the London Palladium in an attempt to win over head judge Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

And it’s fair to say the team managed to do just that with their sweet routine which included the previous winners of the show and even the judges themselves.

They did this by gradually wearing various masks and quick costume changes throughout the routine, including Susan Boyle, George Sampson and the masked group Attraction.

But it wasn’t just the former winners who made their way into the amazing routine, as the judges themselves also made it into the routine, alongside TV double act Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

And the judges couldn’t help but fall in love with the routine as they explained it was like watching their memories “flash before their eyes.”

And fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their love for the act on social media, with one writing: "K but britkids were so good!!!!! #BGT."

Another added: “Really fantastic start to this evening as Brit Kid` smash their audition with so much dedication #BGT.”

A third chimed in with: “Fantastic opening act on tonight’s @ BGT, we all love a mash-up! #BGT #BritainsGotTakent”

As another quipped: “Ok, the Paul Potts one was really good [cry laughing emoji, applause emoji] #BGT.”
