Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) is concerned for the wellbeing of Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) in Emmerdale next week, when Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) takes shocking action and kicks her out!
Liv, who is battling with her addiction to alcohol, is desperate to win back Vinny (Bradley Johnson), after she attacked him several months ago during a booze binge.
Mandy (Lisa Riley), however, orders her to stay away from Vinny, which actually ends up motivating Liv to give up the drink. But Mandy’s desperation to keep Liv away from her son creates serious problems, as she steals Vinny’s phone, and pretends that he’s blocked her number.
What’s more, the worried mum tells Liv that Vinny is taking Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) out for a drink, claiming he needs to be with someone ‘normal’.
The truth comes out, however, when Liv confronts Vinny, and they realise Mandy has been meddling. Vinny then has a word with Liv, confirming that they can never be anything more than friends.
Liv, distraught, does whatever she can to forget about Vinny, and invites Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) over, telling him to choose a movie for them to watch.
She knocks back the vodka for courage, and suggests that Jacob join her upstairs! She starts to undress, but Aaron walks in and catches her, leaving her mortified. One thing leads to another, and Aaron ultimately kicks her out!
In the above clip, taken from next Thursday’s (August 12) first episode, Ben pops around, after learning that his beau has evicted Liv.
Aaron reveals that he couldn’t carry on letting her live with him after catching her with Jacob, but Ben contemplates whether he’s done the right thing kicking Liv out, reminding him of how cold it was last night.
Will Aaron reconsider?
Emmerdale airs these scenes Thursday August 12 at 7pm on ITV.
