Andrew Pierce both defended and attacked the BBC for its coverage of Prince Philip’s death after the broadcasting channel set up a direct page for complaints. The BBC threw out the majority of its programming schedule on nearly all of its channels with BBC radio playing somber music and BBC 1 and 2 rolling near enough 24-hour coverage, Mr Pierce defended the coverage stating the size of the event justified the coverage and slammed the BBC for not sticking to its guns.
