Three Man Utd kids who have impressed Erik ten Hag in first week of training with boss to shake up underachieving squad | The Sun

ERIK TEN HAG plans to call on some of the brightest young stars from Manchester United's academy next season.

The new boss is eager to stamp his authority on the inherited squad by pushing the graduates to challenge established first team players.

Some, including midfielder Zidane Iqbal, 19, who made his first-team debut against Young Boys in the Champions League last December, are understood to have already impressed him.

Argentinian winger Alejandro Garnacho, 18, who made two sub appearances last season, has also impressed, along with midfielder Hannibal Mejbri, 19.

Ten Hag has implemented strict rules into the club's new 'total football' training regime

The Dutchman has made it clear that he will not tolerate sideways and backwards passing or 'unacceptable' body language.
