GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has called on the SPFL to help with Rangers' fixture congestion after their Europa heroics.
The Gers boss points to other associations helping their clubs on the continent and hopes the authorities here do likewise.
Rangers' Europa League semi-final adds two games to their schedule which potentially includes two more Scottish Cup games – if they get by Celtic tomorrow – and the remaining league fixtures.
The final league Old Firm clash of the season is sandwiched in between the RB Leipzig semi-finals.
That run of games follows a 12pm Sunday kick-off against Motherwell on April 24, meaning five HUGE games in the space of 14 days.
And Van Bronckhorst is looking for support from the SPFL amid the pile-up, with James Tavernier backing that idea.

Old Trafford protests, Matic to quit Man Utd in summer, Ten Hag updates
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's Hampden semi with Celtic, the Dutchman said: “I think they are having talks now.
“Obviously we have more games in the latter stage of the season.
“You see in other countries that other games are moved to different dates and kick-off times were changed.
“So I think we just want to do the best for Scotland.

“That’s why we are still involved in Europe and getting a lot of [coefficient] points for everyone.
“Hopefully the Scottish FA helps us to perform as well as possible in Europe but give us enough time to rest for games we have to play in Scotland.”
Tavernier added: "Thursday was a great result, we have a great medical department here who have been getting us into the best shape for tomorrow.
"We can request games to be moved but obviously it comes down to the league.
"You see it happen with other leagues.
"It is a massive achievement to reach a European semi-final."
