Racing tips: Templegate NAPs Saffie Osborne chance at Haydock who will love the mud

TEMPLEGATE goes in search of more winners on a bumper Sunday of racing with the ITV cameras in action again.

Read on for our man's top tips.

DEEP SIGH (5.45 Haydock, nap)

Looks a fair bet for classy 5lb claimer Saffie Osborne and canny trainer David Simcock.

The field has cut up in more ways than one for this with five non-runners and counting and that gives Deep Sigh a great chance to build on her win at Donny.

She clearly relished the heavy ground that day and has only been put up 2lb. She is Newmarket-based Simcock’s only runner on the card.

VINTAGE CHOICE (4.50 Haydock, nb)

A confident pick. William Haggas is having another good season and this newcomer will know his job.

He is related to plenty of horses that won first time out.

FAIRMAC (6.15 Haydock, treble)

Having his ninth run of the season but he’s a typical Mark Johnston battler who is thriving on it.

His past two outings have been his best with a win at Ayr and Chester second. He still looks on a winnable mark to strike again.

Looks capable of better now upped in distance.
