PEDRI will return to Barcelona this week after playing for Spain during the Tokyo Olympics.
The 18-year-old helped his team to a silver medal, with Brazil winning the final 2-1 after extra time on Saturday.
Pedri featured regularly in the tightly congested Olympic schedule, yet is ready to come back to his club on Thursday, report AS.
The midfielder also played a key role for Spain in Euro 2020, helping them reach the semi-final.
That means he has not enjoyed a break from football since the start of last season – with that offseason limited due to the 2019-20 season ending late.
Pedri played 52 games last term despite it being his first full campaign as a professional player.
He is ready for action once more though and could feature in Barcelona's opening day fixture against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Ronald Koeman will be grateful to have the youngster available for selection after a difficult week.

The Barca boss could have new signing Eric Garcia available too, with the defender also participating at the Olympics.
The Catalans will be without Lionel Messi for the first time in 17 years, but responded well to his exit by beating Juventus 3-0 in the Joan Gamper Trophy yesterday.
But more bad news could follow with Manchester United interested in reported wantaway Antoine Griezmann.
