BORUSSIA DORTMUND are pushing Manchester City target Erling Haaland for a quick answer over his future plans.
The Norwegian hot-shot has a £64million release clause in his contract which activates this summer and is wanted by the English champions and Real Madrid.
Haaland’s father Alf-Inge – who played for City between 2000 and 2003 – is leading negotiations and happy for his son to head to his old club.
Dortmund maintain that nothing has been agreed but want to know as soon as possible if the 21-year-old is going to move on.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: “There is a release clause, you know. And there is a deadline.
"We want to make a decision as soon as possible.”

All parties want to know soon what the former RB Salzburg forward's decision will be.
The German side have not given up hope of convincing Haaland to extend his stay with them for another season.
That would suit Madrid whose summer plans this year revolve around signing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain.
Pep Guardiola is determined to add a striker to his squad during the close season after missing out on Harry Kane last year.

And City chiefs hope to boost Guardiola's transfer kitty by offloading at least three fringe players this summer.
Yangel Herrera, Ko Itakura and Taylor Harwood Bellis are all likely to be available if the right offer comes in during the close season.
Venezuelan midfielder Herrera has not played a single minute for the champions but has impressed during two seasons on loan at Granada in Spain.
And City hope the 24-year-old – who has also played for their sister club in New York – could attract bids of around £20million during the close season.
Guardiola has decided he is not likely to force his way into the first team plans at the Etihad but the club are expecting some substantial bids.
Meanwhile City have also fielded enquiries from several Premier League clubs about young centre back Harwood Bellis.
He has previously had loan spells in the Championship with Blackburn and Stoke as well as in Belgium with Anderlecht.
City are willing to listen to offers for the 20-year-old as they are currently well stocked in the centre back department.
After coming through the academy, he has played eight times for City’s first team, all in cup competitions – and scored once in the FA Cup against Port Vale in 2020.
