ARSENAL have beaten Man City in the Community Shield after a stunning penalty shoot-out at Wembley.
Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri both missed spot-kicks as the Gunners won 4-1 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in normal time.
Leandro Trossard scored a dramatic 100th-minute equaliser to send the match into penalties to level Cole Palmer's strike.

Ramsdale answers critics in style
While his manager was working to bring in David Raya from Brentford, Aaron Ramsdale was focussed on getting on with his job.
Today, he proved his worth, making two crucial saves from Phil Foden and Rodri to keep The Gunners in the game at 1-0 down.
He then went on to become the hero as he saved Rodri's penalty to put his side one penalty away from winning the Community Shield.

Arsenal finally get their hands on silverware
If you win it, it's an important trophy and this one will be used as a springboard for Arsenal's season this campaign.
All seemed lost as they headed into added time, but The Gunners managed to do the unthinkable and dent the confidence of rivals Man City in the process.

Time to Partey for Arsenal
While all the talk this summer was the signing of Declan Rice and how he will play with Martin Odegaard, it was one of the old guard who starred today.
Thomas Partey covered so much ground in the middle of the park, he stopped Man City's midfielders controlling the game.
Sometimes the hard work isn't the prettiest but Partey did an important job for Mikel Arteta's side today.

Man City's players looked stunned, they then had to regather themselves for the penalty shootout.
