The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on and Brits will be getting ready for their Christmas shopping.
And as 2020 has been a year unlike any other, there will many turning to click and collect or home delivery for the first time.
Shops are bound to be ready for the festive rush when they reopen on December 2 should customers brave the queues.
When it comes to turkey and trimmings, families will no doubt be planning ahead to make sure they don’t miss out.
During the pandemic some shoppers helped themselves to bulk bought goods, leaving supermarket shelves empty for others.
Many savvy customers will be thinking ahead and using home delivery slots to make sure their grub arrives in time for the big day, The Mirror reports.
Here's the last day for food delivery for major supermarkets:
Asda has already started taking bookings for its delivery slots and some areas are already fully booked between December 20 and Christmas Eve.
The supermarket started its Christmas delivery slots earlier this year in a bid to deal with the rush.
Those who can’t get the dates they want can still order online and do click and collect.
It costs £3 for delivery orders less than £40 and £3 for click and collect orders under £25.
For customers with an Asda Delivery Pass holder, delivery is priced between £3 and £5.50 depending on the day and time of their slot.
Aldi shoppers will be pleased to hear that the budget supermarket now offers home delivery when you order from groceries.aldi.co.uk.
If you were hoping to stock up on festive essentials, sadly Aldi's Christmas food won't be available to order until nearer to December 19th.
The last date for a standard Christmas delivery from the store is December 16th, but it does offers next day delivery up until December 21st.

Tesco is offering delivery slots from 600,000 to 1.5million a week – more than double what has been available at points this year.
Those signed up to the supermarkets Delivery Saver scheme will be able to book their Christmas delivery slot from November 13.
For others, festive slots are available from November 20.
Tesco also offers a click and collect service.
Sainsbury's has released the following dates for Christmas delivery slots.
For delivery on December 20th, book your slot from November 29th
For delivery on December 21st, book your slot from November 30th
For delivery on December 22nd, book your slot from December 1st
For delivery on December 23rd, book your slot from December 2nd
Shoppers should note that Sainsbury’s delivery service is closed between December 24th and December 26th.
Plus, there's a minimum order value of £25.
The supermarket charges £7 for delivery orders under £40 and between 50p and £7 for orders worth more, depending on the time slot you choose.
Delivery is free for orders over £100 booked between Monday and Thursday after 2pm.

Morrisons says orders must be placed by 5pm on December 15 if it is to be in time for December 22, 23, or 24.
Those who opt for Click and Collect can pick up their items in-store between December 22-24.
However, Christmas Click and Collect orders need to be placed by 10pm on December 15th.
Shoppers can already book delivery slots for Waitrose products for dates between December 20 and 24.
Orders for Christmas delivery, like Morrisons, have to be placed by December 15.
The supermarket offers free delivery between 6am and 10pm depending on your branch, but there is a £40 minimum spend.
A free click and collect service is also available on baskets worth £40 or more.
Iceland shoppers can already order their Christmas deliveries for any date up to December 24th.
What's more, the supermarket is offering free delivery for all orders north of £35.
It also offers an in-store same-day delivery service which is free when you spend £25 or more. This service is available until December 24th.
