Someone ordered a Nando’s burger with 50 cheese slices and people are horrified

We’ve all done it before – customised an order from our takeaway to the point where we worry the chef might refuse to make it.

Whether you’re one of those people who orders a burger without the meat or throw handfuls of jalapeños on your sub sandwich.

But, every once in a while someone makes a custom order so outlandish that kitchen staff or delivery drivers can’t help but share the details.

And, one such worker did just that after spotting the bizarre customisation on a Nando’s chicken burger this week.

Adding a snap of the order receipt to Reddit, the poster said: “Someone ordered a burger in Nando's with 50 slices of cheese.”

And, sure enough, there in black and white was a chicken burger with a massive amount of dairy on top.

Wowza.

Hundreds of Brits on the site weighed in with their opinions on the unusual order.

One person wrote: “If they weren't lactose intolerant before they sure are now.”

“Boo, I wanted to see how much it cost,” added another.

To which the OP said: “It was roughly £30.”

That’s one pricey burger…

And the puns came out as one person said: “A lot of cheddar.”

“How dairy even ask,” joked a second

And another noted: “An absolute wedge.”

But not everyone believed that someone would actually want a 50-slice burger.

A curious poster said: “Lol this was an accident surely.”

“That’s what I’m thinking too,” replied another. “Maybe it didn’t confirm the change or something so they just kept doing it – I’d like to have seen their reaction when that turned up.”

Another wrote: “Yeah this was probably a mistake because of the order system where checkboxes don't behave like normal checkboxes.

“In fact they probably didn't want cheese at all, but got annoyed they couldn't deselect and rage clicked 50 times.”

“My mate Dave’s crazy,” commented another. “One time he only went and ordered fifty slices of cheese with his Nando’s.

“What a total legend.”

What do you think?

Accident or completely on purpose?
