Princess Mary dons blouse fashioned by Victoria Beckham at university

A royal recycler! Princess Mary, 50, rocks her favourite Victoria Beckham blouse for the SEVENTH time as she attends a university opening in Denmark

  • Princess Mary has been spotted opening the University College South Denmark
  • Campus will train future educators, graphic communicators & sound designers
  • She wore a flare sleeve knot blouse by Victoria Beckham recycled from 2018
  • And paired it with an ivory silk skirt by Birger et Mikkelsen, a local brand

Princess Mary has been spotted officiating a royal engagement in a blouse she first wore four years ago – and has continued to wear a whopping seven times since.

The recycling royal, 50, officially opened the University College South Denmark (UC SYD Campus) in Kolding, Denmark, on September 6 wearing a flare sleeve knot blouse by Victoria Beckham.

The blue blouse has been seen at The Mary Foundation board meetings in 2018, at a Women’s Deliver conference in 2019, a video message for global pride at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and during a hospital visit in 2021.

The new campus Mary oversaw will train future educators, pedagogical assistants, graphic communicators and sound designers.

UC SYD is South Jutland’s and southern Denmark’s largest educational institution.

Her jubilant appearance was a far cry from her attendance at Denmark’s Flag Day on September 5 which saw her shed a silent tear at a moving ceremony in honour of Denmark’s soldiers.

Mary was given an intimate tour of the venue upon her arrival

Mary walked silently beside her husband Prince Frederik as they attended a number of special events to commemorate the day.

The Crown Prince and Princess first attended a respect ceremony at ‘The Citadel’ in Copenhagen before moving to a church service held at Holmen’s Church.

‘The objective of the ceremony was to honour soldiers and officials who are or have been deployed abroad by Denmark,’ wrote New My Royals.

Mary wore a Beulah London Yahvi Olive Green Midi Dress paired with a fedora and matching heels for the occasion, as well as a Dulong Anello pearl bracelet and earrings.

She could barely contain her emotion in one portion of the ceremony when she slowly raised her right hand and wiped away a stray tear.

‘Mary looks perfect in this deep olive dress. It strikes the right balance of sobriety and respect for the thoughtful occasion, and the hat and shoes in pale straw keeps the looks from being too heavy for the time of year,’ one fan wrote online.

‘She seems visibly moved by the event.’

‘What a very elegant dress Mary is wearing. The design enhances her waist and the full skirt is evocative of the ‘new look’ of the 50s. Deep green is a good colour for her. I also love the soft grey pearls.’
