A chic new Netflix show launched late last week, Emily in Paris, and we are absolutely obsessed. Yep, we spent the whole rainy weekend cuddled up on the sofa binging the 10 part series, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Costume designer Patricia Field, who worked on Sex and the City, as well as Ugly Betty and The Devil Wears Prada, designs for the new series which follows Lily Collins (Emily) as she navigates a new city.

So if you haven’t watched it yet (seriously what’s taking you so long?) – expect great things.

This hot new show certainly came at a good time, as the night's are getting longer and the day's are getting colder, Emily in Paris allowed us to live all of our fashion fantasies and forget about the nightmare that is 2020.

The star’s style in the series certainly stands her far apart from the Parisians who entertain a far more chic and polished look, but that doesn't mean we love her colourful kooky looks any less.

The lead character certainly loves a matching colour look and a statement boot or bag, and who are we to judge?

Here are our top fashion moments:

Emily’s first day in the office and she didn’t disappoint us as she opted for a yellow ditsy floral print cami top and matching midi skirt, styling with an oversized black belt, a matching bag, and killer heels. (Anyone else watch in awe as she navigated the Parisian cobbled streets in these or just us?!)

Emily’s exact top and skirt are last season Ganni, but we have found a great high street alternative.

Tres Chic… Next up we have this gorgeous green look from the cafe scene (cafe au lait anyone?) and this potentially is our number one fave, it’s gorgeous but actually practical. Emily pairs her apple green coat with a check co-ord and a cute neck scarf, not forgetting her signature ankle boots.

It’s not truly French if there isn’t a beret…Emily nails Parisian chic as she rocks a red beret and this season’s hottest trend, the short suit. Her gingham number looks unbelievably cute as she styles with a sensible heel and cross body bag.

Emily channelled her inner Audrey Hepburn as she opted for all black elegance in a stunning black bardot midi gown. Arriving at the opera (as you do) – she looked right at home in this gorgeous look.
