From LED masks to at-home facial steamers, these days the beauty world is brimming with new and exciting skincare gadgets – but have you ever heard of a cryo facial tool?

Already a big hit with stars like Gigi Hadid and Lily Allen, the skin-cooling gadget takes inspiration from professional cryotherapy facials, which involve blasting freezing cold air vapour across the skin to promote a more youthful, radiant complexion.

And now the latest celeb to catch onto the trend is Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, who took to Instagram to rave about Oxygen Boutique’s Cryo Facial Tool, £55 here.

In the short clip shared to her social media account, Millie can be seen massaging her face with the clever tool, claiming it’s her “new favourite trick to reduce puffiness and inflammation”.

Millie has been using the facial tool to refresh her skin in the morning, as she reveals that her 10-month-old baby Sienna has been waking up throughout the night.

“Sienna has had us up a few times in the night recently, leaving me feeling a mixture of jet lagged and hungover which really shows on my face,” Millie writes in the caption of the post.

“This cryo tool is great first thing in the morning to wake me up and it feels so refreshing. You just keep it in the freezer and you are good to go,” she adds.

After pressing Sunday Riley’s Juno Antioxidant and Superfood Face Oil, £27 here, into her skin, Millie rolls the tool across her face in an outwards motion, before holding it on her eye area to reduce puffiness.

Millie’s skin looks instantly glowy and awake after the treatment, as she shows off the results to her 1.4 million followers.

Not only does this at-home treatment feel super refreshing, it also delivers a whole host of skin-boosting benefits. The cool temperature causes the pores to tighten and the skin to appear firmer. It can also help to boost cell metabolism and collagen production, creating a more youthful appearance.
