Cockapoos are battling to secure the UK’s favourite dog breed – now is your final chance to ensure they win.

Thousands of votes have been cast since our sister siteTeamDogslaunched the UK’s Favourite Dog Breed competition in association with Pooch & Mutt. Dog owners all over the country have been battling it out to support their best-loved breed.

OK! is backing Cockapoos as the nation’s most treasured breed – they are currently in sixth place, but that could all change in this final week.

Ceri Gould championed Cockapoos for OK!, writing: "The cockapoo is a velcro dog.

"He will choose a member of the family (the best member obvs) and attach to them so much so that he will follow you to the loo even if he’s just got comfy in his bed.

"When he goes to doggy daycare and I’m without my shadow I feel so bereft."

Take your favourite into the lead andregister your third and final votenow, before the winner is announced on Saturday, August 14.

Every Friday, we’ve seen the 10 breeds with the lowest amount of votes eliminated from the competition. Last week, the Corgi, Toy Poodle and Pomeranian all dropped into the ‘Dog House’.
