When I told him, he wanted me to have an abortion because of the pandemic and insecurity over his job.

I would not agree, and it caused arguments. But then I miscarried anyway.

I have not seen him since. It has been six weeks and we only live 15 minutes apart.

I can’t believe he would treat me this way.

DEIDRE SAYS: It sounds like your boyfriend reacted to your pregnancy with fear and then felt guilty about you having a miscarriage and not being supportive.

Get in touch to settle whether your relationship can recover from this.

You can both find understanding support through the Miscarriage Association (miscarriageassociation.org.uk, 01924 200 799).
