When the average person gets a message from a scammer claiming to be a well-known adult actress, most of us will recognise instantly that something is amiss.
But that's a little harder to do when you are close friends with many of the biggest award-winning porn stars like Pillow Talk host, Ryan Pownall.
The 31-year-old, from Canada, is famed for his raunchy no-holds-barred interviews with famous porn stars on his popular podcasts.

The actors and actresses he meets quickly become firm friends with the host as they find him "so easy to talk to".
Among those are award-winning actress Angela White — which is why, when 'she' asked him for a favour he jumped at the chance to help.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Ryan explained: "I looked in my emails and I'd gotten one from Angela White.
"She said she was in Australia and she had lost her phone and her contacts and gave me her new number.
"She told me she had an orgy arranged with like 26 other big-name porn stars and she needed to change the venue.
"But couldn't tell them so she asked me to make a WhatsApp group. I was like 'Of course, anything for you Angela.'
"So I added all these girls into a group chat with the new number."
But Ryan was mistaken as the email hadn't come from the busty Aussie at all.
"Everyone was messaging me telling me I just gave their number to hackers," he continued.
"They were saying like 'do you know what people could do with our numbers, thanks a lot Ryan'.
"I immediately checked the email and realised it was fake."
He even explained that one of the girls "had their bank account wiped" following the ordeal and he hasn't heard from her since.
"If she sees this interview, I'm so sorry," he noted.

Ryan went from being an entrepreneur, who opened a bar at 23, to becoming the host of Pillow Talk after going viral for an interview with his grandfather about sex in the 50s.
He says his adult star friends are "all chill people who just don't care what anyone thinks of them".
"They just do their thing and get their money," he said.
