DEAR DEIDRE: I HAD really fallen for a woman I met on Tinder but she’s dumped me because she reckons I didn’t “fight for her enough” when she threatened to dump me before.
She’s back on Tinder and seeing someone else. How can she move on so fast when she said she loved me?

I met this woman in January. I’m 41. She is 36 and recently separated.
We would meet for dinner and fun in a hotel room but then she said she was in love with me. I was falling for her too.
Out of the blue she called me and said I clearly was never going to commit so we were over. She sounded adamant so I didn’t argue, but she got back in touch and said she was too hasty.
We got through lockdown OK but now she’s dumped me again and I’m hurting.
DEIDRE SAYS: Developing feelings is making her feel vulnerable after the pain of her marriage going wrong.
I doubt there was any way you could have got things right for her.
Going back on Tinder may be about boosting morale. If you really care for her, give her time and then ask if she’s interested in trying again.
