A healthcare worker has furiously blasted her parents’ friends for spreading COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation after they both ended up in ICU battling the virus — and her mother has since died.
Jeremy, 42, and Monica Voss, 40, were both vocal against the COVID-19 vaccine, and at the end of October, both contracted the virus and were admitted to St. Cloud Hospital in Minnesota, where they began fighting for their lives.
Their daughter Faith Voss-Paulson, who works as a surgical tech, took to Facebook to call out the ‘idiots’ and ‘ignorant fools’ who spread ‘false information willy nilly’ and convinced her parents that the vaccine was dangerous.
‘I BEGGED them to get the vaccine, pleaded,’ Faith, who is one of four siblings, wrote. ‘I am so furious and scared. I pray to god none of you have to deal with both of your parents in the ICU because of Covid.’
While bedridden and on oxygen, Jeremy revealed that he changed his mind about the vaccine and urged others to get it — but it was too late for Monica, who died due to complications on November 26.

Their daughter Faith shared this text from her father while he was in the hospital saying he should have had the vaccine
Faith’s fuming Facebook post came on October 29, shortly after her parents were admitted to the hospital and a month before her mother’s untimely passing.
‘To my parents friends who thought they knew better,’ she began.
‘To the ones who promoted medical misinformation, to those who encouraged my parents to follow you blindly in your quest of being against masks and vaccines.
‘I hope you’re happy, and I hope that you’re proud that you were able to have my parents completely disregard medical SCIENCE and for them to tell their daughter who studies MEDICINE that she is wrong, I hope you’re freaking proud.
‘Because of idiots like you spreading false information Willy nilly, my parents believed you. And know what? They’re in the ICU right now with Covid & pneumonia.
‘I am so pissed off and infuriated with you all who refused to believe me, who refuse to believe science. Because of people like you who are unable to open their mind and I don’t know maybe a microbiology book as well, my parents believed you. They were willing to throw my knowledge away.
‘I BEGGED them to get the vaccine, pleaded. But because ignorant fools decide to spread false information, my parents didn’t believe me.
‘I am so furious and scared. I pray to god none of you have to deal with both of your parents in the ICU because of Covid,’ she went on.
‘I am not apologizing, I will continue to promote the vaccine and mask mandates, I am infuriated and terrified. This year so many have shown their true colors and I will never forget those who supported me and those who stood against me,’ she concluded.
She also said she her ‘heart breaks to get this as a response from my father,’ posting a screenshot of their text message conversation — in which Jeremy wrote: ‘Sorry I didn’t believe you or listen to you. I shouldn’ve got the vaccine.’
Neither Jeremy nor Monica were vaccinated, and each had shared anti-vaccine, anti-mandate posts on Facebook.
Monica posted #StopTheMandate borders on her Facebook profile picture, and Jeremy regularly sharing posts of a similar nature, including conspiracy theories.

Meanwhile, Faith frequently posted statistics and studies on the vaccine
The issue appears to have led to disagreements within the family, and Monica argued with Faith on her posts
Meanwhile, Faith frequently posted statistics and studies on the vaccine, showing how the vast majority of those hospitalized, admitted to the ICU, and put on ventilators with COVID have been unvaccinated.
The issue appears to have led to disagreements within the family, and Monica argued with Faith on her posts.
‘It is a personal choice. No one should have to force you to take it. No one should make you feel bad cause you haven’t taken it either,’ Monica wrote. ‘If you do take it good for you and if you don’t take it good for you too. Do your research. Because one’s for the shot will tell you one thing and one’s against it do the same.’
She also lectured her daughter to ‘stop using your Christianity as a manipulation to have someone get a shot.’
‘Yes you are in the medical field new to the medical field,’ she wrote. ‘I have had high-ranked Dr‘s tell me not to get it. I also don’t believe it is selfish at all there is not enough study that has been done. The one’s who took it are the study. Some of us choose not to be the the study and that is okay.’
While hospitalized, Jeremy said: ‘I should’ve taken the risk and gotten the shot so I might not have had to go through something like this’
On October 31, Jeremy told friends on Facebook: ‘If you haven’t got the vaccine, just go get it. This right here isn’t worth it. Can barely get out of hospital bed and constantly on oxygen tube right now’
It’s unclear if Monica’s position changed after she was hospitalized, but Jeremy’s certainly did.
On October 31, days after he arrived at the hospital by ambulence and was too weak to stand, he shared photos of himself hooked up to oxygen in his hospital bed and urged friends to get vaccinated.
‘If you haven’t got the vaccine, just go get it,’ he wrote. ‘This right here isn’t worth it. Can barely get out of hospital bed and constantly on oxygen tube right now.
‘So please, just go get it for you and your kids to be safe. I don’t know for sure when I can leave or what condition I will leave in or what side affects I may have.’
Speaking to ABC affliciate WDIO, he added: ‘I should’ve taken the risk and gotten the shot so I might not have had to go through something like this.
While the family hasn’t provided an update on Jeremy’s condition, Monica passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the hospital

‘The most frustrating thing is my wife and I can do absolutely nothing right now. Our three teenagers are home. They’re stuck driving the cars, they’re paying the bills, they’re cooking for each other, trying to help each other do their homework. And we know we can’t be there.’
He also noted that his 74-year-old father, who suffers from emphysema, contracted COVID as well — but he was vaccinated and spent just one night in the hospital before returning home.

‘This season will be incredibly difficult for my family to navigate through. Prayers are always welcome and appreciated,’ Faith wrote on Facebook.
