Like mother, like daughter.
Kate Hudson has been following in mom Goldie Hawn’s footsteps career-wise for decades, and now the shoe is (literally) on the other foot, as the mother-daughter duo pose together in a new Stuart Weitzman campaign.
Dubbed “Live Every Moment,” the brand’s spring 2022 ads see Hawn, 76, modeling a pair of white strappy sandals while Hudson, 42, cuddles up to her mom in fiery red lace-up heels.
“My mom has always been an inspiration to me and, in so many ways, the foundation for my values. There’s no doubt that I inherited her love for life and all of its experiences big and small,” Hudson, who is an ambassador for Stuart Weitzman, said in a press release.
The “Almost Famous” actress also said that her mom is obsessed with the brand.
“I actually have a separate area in my closet just for my Stuart Weitzman shoes, so you know I was excited to be a part of the campaign,” Hawn revealed. “But more than that, spending the day with my daughter and watching her shine always brings me unimaginable joy.”
The campaign also marks an expansion of the brand’s Vital Voices Global Partnership, a non-profit organization committed to investing in women leaders who are solving the world’s challenges, with the launch of the Bold Moves Grant Program. Hudson helped choose five women leaders from around the world to receive grants.
Hudson and Hawn aren’t the first mother-daughter duo to pose for Stuart Weitzman; Serena Williams and toddler Olympia Ohanian twinned in matching catsuits and cheetah-printed heels for an adorable photoshoot last year.
